JOHANNESBURG: Cricket South Africa (CSA) joins the nation in congratulating the South African national women’s team, Banyana Banyana on their fantastic Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (Wafcon) triumph in Morocco.

“Banyana Banyana have made an emphatic statement, in our beloved continent and across the globe that women’s sport in South Africa is a force to be reckoned with. Their resilience, consistency and fortitude against worthy opponents has endeared them to all South Africans.

“This demonstration of grit, flair and courage is a template of what we should expect Banyana Banyana to display at next year’s World Cup.
