LAHORE: Olympian javelin thrower and the country’s medal prospect in the forthcoming major international events Arshad Nadeem and Muhammad Yasir departed for foreign training in South Africa.
According to Athletics Federation of Pakistan they will train for 4 month under world renowned coach Terseus Libenberg at North West University Campus in Potchefstroom, South Africa.

Secretary General AFP Muhammad Zafar said se are confidence that both the athlete will benefit from this rare opportunity of foreign training by and experienced international coach and will bring laurels from the country in future competitions.

Arshad Nadeem said in a statement “I am very happy that I am going to South Africa for training ahead of major events this year,”.
“It’s a golden opportunity. I will try my level best to fully avail it and further learn from the experienced coach of South Africa,” Arshad said.
