LAHORE: International Cricket Council (ICC) ex panelist umpire Asad Rauf passed away due to heart attack in Lahore on Wednesday night.

Former ICC umpire and first class cricketer Asad Rauf passed away at the age of 66. According to sources Asad Rauf died of cardiac arrest. Asad Rauf’s brother named Tahir confirmed his death.

Sources confirms He was on the way to home from his shop when suddenly he feels chest pain. Asad’s heart attack proved fatal.
He was the top umpire of ICC. Asad Rauf was born on May 12, 1956 in Lahore. He represented in 98 ODIs, 49 Tests and 23 T20 matches.
